Vegan Jackpot! Jerk Burgers. Digbeth. Enough said.

If there’s such a thing as a “good vegan jerk burger,” chances are you can find it at Taste and Liquor Jerk Festival on Saturday 10 August.

Time to introduce one of The Jerk Festivals’ experimental guests. Knowing how important it is for Vegan guests to enjoy the festival to the max Taste and Liquor have teamed up with one the Midlands most exciting traders to bring on the flavour Vegan – Jerk style!

If you’ve sworn off meat, we’ve found the best options for you. This one’s a total no-brainer. Everything at Tash ‘N’ Dash is plant based so it’s basically heaven for the meat-free consumer. Presenting two burger options (and plenty of other yummy stuff.)

If you get the chance, grab hold of their killer Jackfruit BBQ Jerk Burger, covered in lashings of barbecue Jerk sauce, really takes on the charcoal, caramelised flavours. Served high with some Vegan coleslaw, plus salad and what’s more this dish is totally gluten free.

Thankful their Vegan Premium Organic Burger topped with Vegan BBQ Sauce will promised to blow your Jerk socks off! Go large or go home and stack them up high with a second naughty layer, just ask on arrival how high you want them to go!

Vegan food is shining bright at The Jerk Festival (as all chefs will be presenting Vegan dishes all round) but Tash ‘N’ Dash are making sure of it and taking their fun menu to the next level their Smoked Vegan Hot Dog with Onions, Pineapple and Jerk Sauce. Vegan addicts can even top it up with a Jamaican Patty and Sweet Potato Fries – get ready for your belly smile as this menu celebrates happiness in a tray!

Taste and Liquor’s Jerk Festival is Birmingham’s first Caribbean Smoke and Fire Festival, at Quantum in Digbeth.

Doors open from 12pm. Family Friendly and Wheerchair accessible. Vegan, Vegetarian and Halal dishes (made on separate drum pans) also available, please ask the traders on the day. For more infomation click here.
