Fire up your grill and get ready for some serious smoke!

No matter what your barbecue, meat or gin preferences, there’s something for everyone at Taste and Liquor’s Great British BBQ, Meat and Gin Festival  – on Saturday 29 June.

Now in its third year, this event features some of the Midlands best British Street Food traders serving up their famous BBQ (& Meat and more) – your stomach is sure to be satiated.

Smoked Beef Cheeks – New & Exclusive Dish: Sticky, tender beef cheeks with a subtle oak-smoked flavour are hitting our mouths this weekend, served with sweet potato wedges, salsa verde, crema and pickles.

Sticky BBQ Hoisin Chicken Wing – are any chicken wing lover’s dream! Served with a sesame seed spring chilli dressing and peanuts, this dish has a sticky, sweet sauce that coats every bite of chicken with the most mouth-watering flavor!

BBQ Pulled Smoked Pork with roasted cashew red slaw in a seeded brioche bun with crispy coated corn on the cob.

June 21st may be the “official” first day of summer. But we say summer starts the moment you attend our Great British BBQ, Meat and Gin Festival in Quantum in Digbeth. Featuring eight marvellous food and drink traders, we can wait for them to dust off the grill to serve up a smorgasbord of barbecued (gin, pudding and meat) goodies.
