Polish BBQ captures the imagination of The Great British BBQ, Meat and Gin Festival this Saturday

In a street food festival where you can seek out any cuisine in the world, there’s one type that seems to growing in popularity as time goes on: Polish Street Food

Full Belly is a name in the world of street food that many may not have heard of, but that, it appears, may not be the case much longer. The Midlands-based company has been making waves on our line-up thanks to their original new menus based on Polish ingredients dashed with modern inspiration, which appeal to people who want something different.

In our mind, there’s a need for a Polish BBQ street-food to be in Digbeth. With such a big community now taking residency across the Midlands, it’s time to take their much loved ingredients into the mainstream!

Full Belly is something new for people to taste, and those who are interested in trying something, which isn’t available on their doorstep. With four brand new and exclusive dishes, let’s give you the lowdown on what’s on offer on Saturday 29 June, at Quantum in Digbeth.

When it comes to meatballs, they don’t mess around! It’s a new twist on an old favourite, mixing Grilled Beef Meatballs with mushrooms and cheese, alongside this they’ll be plating up traditional Polish Kiełbasa Sausage with Onion Shashli (a skewered and grilled cubes of meat, similar to or synonymous with shish kebab,) Polish Kiełbasa Hot Dogs with onions and pickle gherkins and BBQ Drunken Chicken Skewers marinated in Polish beer, honey and mustard.

When it comes to street food, Poland is one proud nation. So if your mouth has started watering already, we would advise you to hold on your taste buds, get something from the fridge (for time being) as we still have one more menu to announced for Taste and Liquor’s Great British BBQ, Meat and Gin Festival that will certainly set your tummy on a roll.
