Taste and Liquor Birmingham Burger Month Present Burger Theory

From classic cheeseburgers and smashed stacks to unconventional favorites, Taste and Liquor Birmingham Burger Month present the best burgers in the City.

Burger Theory is everyone’s favourite Birmingham open secret. Once you’ve been, to Kongs Bar on top of Hill Street next to Victoria Square you will question yourself if they’ve hacked your taste buds, all we can say is to just get ready to experience a neurological burger phenomenon.

You’ve undoubtedly seen Burger Theory on your Insta feed since they brought their talents to Birmingham and there’s reason for that. This beautiful, straightforward burger joint is so badass in a way that makes you want to re-evaluate all the things you think you know about the humble burger. Their – Grass-Feed Beef and Free Range Fried Chicken – Burgers are so tidy and yet so messy, you won’t stop to think how you crushed it in four bites.

Not only is the Burger Theory’s menu gorgeous, with over Twelve Burgers to choose from, as well as craft beers, cocktails and spirits, the ground floor building is filled with table tennis tables and old school arcade games, too. Take a gander at our selection of their best burgers and see if your favorites have made the list.

There are no words to describe the soul-filling goodness that is The Hairy Beast. We’ll start with these: Beef and Jalapeño Patties. Southern Fried Chicken. Crispy Bacon. Melty Cheese. Frank’s Hot Sauce and Blue Cheese Dressing.

Their Down n’ Dirty Burger is interesting in a lot of ways. Firstly, patties are topped with Melted Cheddar and Mozzarella. It’s also got a bun that can handle the heft of its beef blocks. It’s rare you make your way through a sizable burger without being soaked in its juices; it also comes with Pink Pickled Onions and Dirty Burger Sauce however (if this didn’t impress you) their Specials are also mouth-watering gorgeous success.

Think Beef Patty, Slow Roast Pork Belly in Chipotle Rub, Cheddar, Pips Hot BBQ Sauce, Onion Ring. For those who fancy more Veg in their bun, get stuck into a Moving Mountains Patty with Cheddar, Southern Fried Mushroom and BBQ Sauce.

But for Taste and Liquor Birmingham Burger Month we can not get enough of their Cheese Theory Burger which come with Smoked Cheddar Cheese Sauce running its way down all corners and the Dijonnaise Sauce and House Pickles are prettier than any other burger topping you’ve ever seen.

Not only have the Beyond Burger geniuses mastered the art of the burger, but they’ve nailed its toppings too. By “toppings” I mean that on each burger you order, there is an actual base layer of perfect pickles and an actual waterfall of in-house sauces, plus you can double up, add more bacon, throw in some chicken wings, Gulten up your bun or go Vegan, too there’s something for everyone at Taste and Liquor Birmingham Burger Month.
