Fingers got sticky – and napkins got smudged, smeared and crumpled – at the third annual Taste and Liquor Brum Wing Fest 2019 on Saturday 4th May.
It was a tough competition; the heat was well and truly on as five chefs battled it out to win Brum Wing Fest 2019. However there could be only one winner – winner mother clucking winner – as Indian street food traders Veeru Da Dhaba won the glorious title and was crowned ‘undisputed winners’ at Taste and Liquor Brum Wing Fest.
The 2019 Brum Wing Fest featured five street food traders from across the Midlands; the winners who emerged from the main event were victorious after completing a whole day of competition. The public judged the wings by text or balloted voting, beer flowed, desserts from The Dough Bar put us over the top, and all-in-all it was a finger-licking good day down in Digbeth.
Well done Limon Turkish, Urban Little BBQ, Full Belly and Naughty Little Things for battling it out, better luck next year!
