Birmingham simply won’t stand for limp burgers anymore, particularly when their vegan counterparts are raising the game. Taste and Liquor Birmingham Burger Month welcome Vegan food heroes, BA-Ha to the month-long celebrations.

There are few more satisfying places to experience the impressive advances in vegan cooking over the last couple of years than at this bustling, impeccably trailblazing kitchen, the legendary street food duo Frankie and Becky bring their vegan menu to The Mailbox championing flavours and unique textures on a plate busting with imagination.

BA-HA was one of the first on the scene to present modern Vegan cooking trends to Birmingham, having recently been added to Gohen Top 50 Vegan Restaurants in the UK 2019 list, they now have a permanent spot at Churchills based in the heart of the City Centre.

Treat yourself to delicious plant-based Burger goodness. But if you’re planning on shedding a few pounds (no such luck at Taste and Liquor Birmingham Burger Month) forget it — it has the same number of calories and taste as the real thing.

BA-HA’s impressive house burgers’ is made from scratch. Get stuck into a Sweet Jack Burger, with Panko fried Jackfruit and a Sweetcorn Patty. We highly recommend The King Kentucky Burger that has Marinated King Oyster Mushroom in Panko Crispy Batter topped with the usual suspects: homemade Slaw, Sriracha, Vegan Homemade Garlic Mayo or BA-HA Secret Sauce.  Served with a great tangle of golden fries and a great steak knife stuck into the top of the soft sesame-speckled Vegan Brioche Bun.

With canal views and a fabulous indoor firepit, Churchills is a great place to get stuck into a Vegan Burger or two. Handpicked by the team, you can also enjoy over 300 wines, ports and Champagnes, alongside beers, cocktails, spirits and soft drinks. State-of-the-art wine dispensing machines offer DIY wine tasting opportunities, so you can sample a wider selection of our favourite wines.
