To bring the celebration finally together, this Saturday we take a trip down Mexico

Are you caving some authentic Tacos, well our next chef has that covered.  Forget everything you know about Birmingham tacos and pay a visit to Chalupa, home of authentic Mexican street food. You got that right: Real Mexican food made by a Mexican Chef, originally from Mexico! These are some of the best Meaty and Veg Tacos outside Mexico and will leave any taco connoisseur pleasantly surprised with the quality of their fillings and their handmade Nachos.

Only at Taste and Liquor’s BBQ, Meat and Gin Festival Chalupa Mexican Street Food will present Gringas Chicken Tinga (braised spicy chicken with a delicious sauce made of tomato and onion, chipotle and cheese) and the double tortilla of Champiñones Al Pastor (garlic mushroom, guajillo chilli and mexican achiote) will immediately remind you of your favourite street stall in Mexico City; discover Mexican heritage in every single bite with a healthy dose of homemade Guacamole and Nachos and indulge in his new dish creatived exclusively for the festival: Carne Asada (marinated and grilled with his special spicy sauce with cheese and avocado sauce) for some of the best Beef Steak this side of the border.

But wait, there’s more! If you’re looking for some unique options without leaving the Mexican specialties aside, ask for the spicy Nachos Chalupa, smothered with cheese, topped with cream, jalapeños and pico de gallo, black beans and sauce.

There you have it, our last menu as presented for Taste and Liquor’s British BBQ, Meat and Gin Festival at Quantum in Digbeth (29 June,) with eight stunning traders – one being an award-winning Cocktail Bar – DJ’s, glitter-paint artists and retro arcade games plus, the main bar will be serving cold ice large and beer, sprits, wine and more, advance tickets still available or pay more at the door.
