As a kid, who remembers sticking our head in the mixing bowl for that last remaining lick of cookie dough, truly a rare and highly sought-after guilty pleasure? For many, that sweet desire never quite leaves us, which is probably how we got one of the greatest cookie trends of all time: edible cooking dough.
We are so glad it has transported into the street-food world as Taste and Liquors’ purveyor of cookie-dough goodness is back on their line-up for this years’ BBQ, Gin and Meat Festival at Quantum in Digbeth.
On Saturday 29 June, The Cookie Dough Bar is offering customers a whopping total of five flavours and varieties. New to the festival is their Raspberry White Chocolate and S’mores Delight, a Chocolate and Digestive cookie dough with Marshmallow fluff, alongside Chocolate Chip, Oreas Cookies and Cream and Double Chocolate Brownie are among the vendors many standard and seasonal dough flavours available to try.
However the treats don’t stop there. Each bowl is pilled high with homemade sauces and toppings, think; salted caramel, pretzels, salted peanuts, chocolate chips, marshmallows, popcorn, peanut, lotus biscuits, oreos, oaties sprinkles all served with vanilla ice cream. With a promise of most dishes being all vegan friendly with the exception of a few toppings, it’s completely safe to eat and will satisfy your cookie dough craving!
The Great British BBQ, Gin and Meat Festival. It’s guaranteed to be the most delicious block party you’ve ever been to. For further infomation please click here.
