Wave your lighters in the air and wave them like you just don’t care as Power Ballads Brunch launches first in the UK in Birmingham on Saturday 15 June at Nocturnal Animals.
Get those air-guitars ready as we will be fist thumping the air, looking up into the stars that aren’t really there and grabbing our mates round their necks for some BFF sing-a-long action: Power Ballads Brunch is the UK’s biggest and best power ballads daytime party: that plays nothing but power ballads!
It’s a day of big hair. A day of power ballads. A day of guitar-chugging, leather-clad men and huge-voiced divas. Power Ballads is an age where a movie tie-in song would cling to the number-one spot like a limpet, and videos were little more than filmtrailers. Love it or loathe it, the power ballad is the musical genre that never gets old.
These massive tunes from across the decades permeate popular culture from TV talent shows, to big-budget films, modern animations and musicals and there’s nothing quite like belting out your favourite power ballad at the top of your lungs.
Join us every month, as Power Ballads Brunch will be pumping out songs that we worship at the altar of Meat Loaf, Bonnie Tyler, Phil Collins, Bon Jovi, Queen, Prince, Tina Turner, Whitney Houston, Robbie Williams, Frankie Goes to Hollywood, Posion, R.E.M, Chicago, Europe, Cher, Mr Mister, Billy Idol, Simple Minds, Belinda Carlisle, George Micheal, Oasis, Adele, Aerosmith, Celine Dion, Kiss, Lionel Richie, Seal, Faith Hill, Eric Carmen, Roxette, Leona Lewis and more and all the other titans of power, singing their hearts out to every word. It’s not about breaking out the moves. At our party we concentrate on singing our heart out. However some air drumming may also come in handy!
With the UK’s best DJs playing only the Greatest Anthems in the World, arrive early and grab yourself some Bottomless Cocktails from 12pm to 1pm (yes, this is part of your ticket-deal, more info can be found below). Alongside this food will be served via the venues kitchen and a fully stocked bar will keep the drinks flowing all day.
Dress up as a Power Ballad Icon (optional), bring along an inflatable air guitar and bag yourself the hottest ticket in town.

– Ticket is for entry only and bottomless cocktails from 12pm to 1pm.
– Bottomless Cocktails will be served from 12pm to 1pm only. Based on one drink per serving before refilling at the bar before 1pm. Please note a queue will be expected if busy.
– All Food and Drink to be purchased separately from the venue. Please note Power Ballad Brunch is not responsible for this service.
