With bottomless desi rum-punch cocktails served in the first hour, headline acts confirmed every month, live Dhol Players, top DJs, MC’s and tasty street-food served all day, who’s ready to party? WHO ARE WE?

SHAANTI are a British UK crew from Birmingham. They are one of the UK’s most respected club brands, having advocated complex leftfield Asian breaks, bhangra and fusion of British club genres as its musical road map since arriving in 1999, this UK institute returns hard with a double-edged celebration with the return of their desi club night Funksshan and an impressive line-up of monthly daytimers. Breaking down music barriers in the mainstream the brand has gone on from strength to strength, championing original events and festivals up and down the country.

Never aligned with just one genre, they also host several UK day-to-night day timers and festivals across the UK championing ukg (Brunch UKG/UKG Diner with Fonti from Heartless Crew, Wookie…,) rnb (R&B Brunch/ RNB Juice,) dnb (Brunch DNB) and hip-hop (Brunch Hip Hop) … festival also includes The Eastern Electronic Festival (31 days across Birmingham,) The Holi Rave Festival (back in 2022,) The Female Takeover (Southbank Centre) and most recently the Brunch DNB Festival (Fabio + Grooverider, DJ Randall, Byran Gee…) The Jerk Festival Independent Day Festival (Channel One Sound System). Shaanti and Funkshaan are the stuff of legends and it has the honour of being one of the longest-running club-festival organisers in the UK.

• Time: 2.00pm til 8.00pm launch party only.
• The ticket is for entry only.
• Complimentary desi rum punch is served in the first hour only, please note this is not part of your ticket deal this is complimentary. This will be a fruity pineapple, orange dark rum and light rum punch. This cannot be exchanged for a drink of your choice. First come first served. Based on one drink per serving before refilling before 3.00pm.
• All Street Food and Drinks to be purchased separately from the venue – please note FUNKSHAAN BRUNCH is not responsible for this service. Please note food will be global street-food and will change each month. Vegetarian, Vegan and Meat options will be available. Sadly we can not confirm if any dishes will be GF until the week before the event.
• Seating is first come first serve please arrive early to bag the best seats in town!
• Over 18+ event ID will be required.
• Please drink responsibly.
• Tickets are not refundable unless the event is cancelled because of COVID19.
• Funkshaan Brunch is a club daytimer.

-If you are worried about CV19 then we would advise you not to buy your tickets in advance – if this event does not sell out – tickets will be available to buy online, on the day until 1.30pm or at the door. We highly recommend you follow these instructions to avoid any disappointment.

-At these current times of change, we, The Taste and Liquor Group/Shanti have the right to amend an event at any time when we are legally required.

-Our event will not be cancelled unless a blanket lockdown has been issued for the hospitality and leisure industry. If this happens only then refunds (or the option to reuse your tickets at the next available dates/events) will be issued and all ticket holders will be contacted by email only via the email address as registered with your ticket provider.

-Videos and photography will be taken and be used for marketing purposes.

-Management has the right to refuse entry.
